Bonnie's Page |
Perfection is our dream. Our farm mascot, Bonnie, 'The Bon-ster', is a far cry from what our business is all about. One of our first purchases when we began selecting Shetlands, she wormed her way (literally) into the back of our truck and into our hearts. A problem from day one, she has nevertheless earned her keep many times over, with her antics and adventures. Though she would have been culled on any other farm I recognized early on that this little bundle of dynamite was possibly not be a sheep at all. We opted to have her spayed and it will be here on Guinea Lane Farm that she will end her days. Many, many years from now, I would hope.
I keep a journal of our life with Bonnie and Co. and plan to add new stories to this site regularly of farm goings on - featuring, in most cases, Bonnie, of course. (Bonnie Stories) She has fast become a celebrity with those that have met (or read about) her and every day with her brings more writing material and a smile to my face. I hope that you will find her as enchanting as we do. Welcome, one and all, to the magical, whimsical world of Guinea Lane Farm and our Shetland Sheep. C.H.
