[ A Message from Dan ]

Tri-City Church of Christ is recognized as an innovative rural church utilizing
small groups and purpose-driven strategies that meet people where they are in
life. The church has a reputation of providing help to those in need throughout
Douglas County through its multi-facet care ministry.

Dan's involvement in local government has raised the community awareness
of the church ministry. He has served on the Myrtle Creek Planning
Commission and Myrtle Creek City Council, holds a seat on the
Myrtle Creek Library Board and is a board member of the Myrtle Creek
Building Authority responsible for the development, construction, and
oversight of the Myrtle Creek Golf Course. As a Chaplain at the Douglas
County Correction Facility since 1991, he is fully involved in real
ministry to real people.

Each week, he is privileged to be allowed on both South Umpqua High School campus and Riddle High School campus as a positive role model to students. He has also conducted weekly Bible studies at the Forest Glen Residential Home
since 1991.

Wendi is a home school mother of four. Together, the Jocoys provide a model of a "User-Friendly" ministry to the residents of Douglas County.
