I have an impossible time trying to get the lighting right for photos, so I took them in 3 kinds of light.  The most accurate for color and detail are the ones with the flash in my studio, although the background appears too dark.  

These were taken with sunlight in the shade and are washed out.

Inspiration for this sculpture:  I took a poll on Tabaskeau Studio News a couple years ago, and the most wanted breed was a Welsh Cob.  Taking my customers desires to heart,   I found a photo of a liver chestnut section D Welsh Cob stallion in my Horse Illustrated in this pose.   I thought  it natural and dynamic, so here he is!
